Baku-APA. The number of Yemenis killed in the airstrike on a funeral ceremony in Sanaa exceeded 200, media reported on Saturday, citing a medical source, APA reports quoting Sputnik.
According to Al Mayadeen broadcaster, the death toll reached 213 people, while earlier reports suggested that some 82 were killed and 534 more sustained injuries.

Baku-APA. Dozens of people were killed and many injured as a result of the airstrike on the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, during the funeral ceremony, involving Houthi rebels, carried out by the forces of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition, a local source told Sputnik on Saturday, APA reports quoting Sputnik.
According to the source, the total number of those killed and injured in the capital, controlled by Houthis, can be as high as several hundreds of people.
Yemen has been engulfed in a military conflict between the government headed by Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi and Houthi rebels since 2014. The Houthis are backed by army units loyal to former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
Since March 2015, the Saudi-led coalition of mostly Persian Gulf countries has been carrying out airstrikes against the opposition Houthis at the request of ousted Hadi. In August, the United Nations said that more than 10,000 civilians have been killed in Yemen since March 2015.
