Technical talks are ongoing between Türkiye and Israel to prevent conflict in Syria, said the Minister of National Defense Yashar Guler, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.
He noted that this does not mean normalization with Israel: “Türkiye provides military training and advice, strengthens its defense.”
Yaşar Güler, recalling that more than 20,000 Turkish soldiers are deployed in northern Syria, stated that there are no plans for their withdrawal until full regional stability, border security, and the return of refugees are achieved.
