The Turkish army “neutralized” five PKK terrorists in northern Iraq, the National Defense Ministry said on Monday, APA reports.
"Five PKK terrorists identified in the Claw-Lock Operation area were neutralized by our Air Forces," the ministry said on X.
"Turkish Armed Forces will continue operations with determination until the last terrorist is neutralized," it added.
Türkiye launched Operation Claw-Lock last year in April to target the PKK terror group’s hideouts in the Metina, Zap, and Avasin-Basyan regions of northern Iraq, located near the Turkish border.
