The Tehran Stock Exchange will resume operations tomorrow after an 80-day suspension, APA’s Tehran bureau reports.
Following several weeks of preparatory meetings for the reopening of the exchange, the trading process will resume starting tomorrow.
According to the information, the Tehran Stock Exchange will initially resume operations without opening 42 stock symbols. These symbols mainly belong to the basic metals, maritime transport and chemical sectors. Some manufacturing enterprises operating in these sectors, including steel, petrochemical and pharmaceutical companies, were damaged during the recent war.
Exchange officials stated that support policies for the market have been planned. It was noted that the remaining stock symbols will also be reopened for trading in the future.
