The talks between the United States and Iran that were planned to take place in Switzerland have been postponed due to the month of Muharram, Pakistan's Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said while speaking to journalists, Pakistan's media reports.
According to him, the talks will continue after the month of Muharram. At the same time, efforts to advance the discussions will continue over the next 60 days.
Ishaq Dar stressed that Pakistan is ready to participate in any meeting or event to which it may be invited in the future.
The foreign minister also confirmed that he will attend the funeral ceremony of former Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
