Baku-APA. A Turkish soldier, who was reportedly mentally unstable, killed three fellow soldiers in a fit of rage in southeastern Turkey on Tuesday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
The incident took place at the Igneli gendarmerie outpost in Pervari town of Siirt province when the soldier opened fire on his fellow soldiers with a G-3 assault rifle, leaving three dead, according to the report.
The soldier then attempted to commit suicide with the same rifle, the report said, adding that he was critically injured and taken to Pervari State Hospital for treatment and was in critical condition.
