Baku-APA. Lebanese President Michel Suleiman postponed on Saturday a national dialogue session originally set to take place at the Baabda Palace next Monday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

According to a statement issued by the presidential palace, Suleiman informed all participants of the postponement without setting a new date.

The decision came following Suleiman's meeting with Prime Minister Najib Miqati and Progressive Socialist Party chief Walid Jumblat on Friday night.

The opposition March 14 camp has announced its boycott to the dialogue, stressing that they would not participate unless Prime Minister Miqati resigns.

The president has been carrying out consultations with political forces to push for national dialogue since the assassination of Chief of Information Department of Lebanon's Internal Security Forces Wissam el-Hassan on Oct. 19.
