Baku-APA. Syrian President Bashar al-Assad stressed Tuesday that the parties that are targeting Syria have been working to destroy its infrastructure systematically, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
The president's remarks were made during the oath-taking ceremony of the newly appointed government.
Assad said that a lot of efforts are needed in order to face the attempts to destroy Syria.
For his part, Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi stressed the government's resolve to do its utmost to provide the needs of the citizens and to "support the Syrian army to eliminate the armed terrorist groups."
