Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly responded for the first time Sunday to reports of an emerging US-Iran agreement to end the war, stating that “Iran will never have a nuclear weapon”, APA reports citing CNN.
The message was posted on X alongside what appeared to be an AI-generated image of Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump.
Later Sunday, Netanyahu added that he and Trump had agreed that any final agreement with Iran “must eliminate the nuclear danger.”
“That means dismantling Iran’s nuclear enrichment sites and removing its enriched nuclear material from its territory,” Netanyahu wrote on X. “President Trump also reaffirmed Israel’s right to defend itself against threats on every front, including Lebanon.”
