Türkiye's National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has conducted an operation against Islamic State in Syria, NTV reports.
As a result of the operation carried out by MIT in coordination with the Syrian intelligence service, 10 ISIS members who were wanted under a “red bulletin” were detained and brought to Türkiye.
It was revealed that the detainees had fought within the ranks of ISIS, and it was also determined that they had participated in several terrorist attacks previously carried out in Türkiye.
It was reported that one of the detainees was linked to the organizers of the terrorist attack at Ankara railway station, in which 109 people lost their lives.
