Iran's naval blockade is still in effect, and ships continue to receive warnings from the US Central Command (CENTCOM) to stop, Tasnim stated, APA's Tehran bureau reports.
According to the report, Iranian sailors say the blockade remains in force and that vessels are receiving warnings from CENTCOM ordering them to stop and denying them permission to pass.
The agency added that following Donald Trump's statement last night claiming that the naval blockade had been lifted, some Iranian vessels attempted to cross the blockade line.
However, they were met with warnings from US warships and were immediately ordered to return behind the blockade line. They were told that otherwise, fire would be opened.
