A magnitude 4.9 earthquake struck Türkiye's Adana province, according to the country's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), APA reports.
The earthquake occurred at 04:26 local time at a depth of 8.6 kilometers.
No damage or casualties have been reported following the tremor.
In a statement, AFAD said the earthquake, centered in the Saimbeyli district of Adana, was also felt in the provinces of Kahramanmaraş, Osmaniye, Kayseri and Niğde.
“Following the magnitude 4.9 earthquake that occurred at 04:26 in the Saimbeyli district of Adana and was felt in the provinces of Kahramanmaraş, Osmaniye, Kayseri and Niğde, no adverse situation has been reported so far. Field assessment activities are ongoing,” AFAD said.
