Kyrgyzstan has lifted PCR testing requirement for those crossing the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border in connection with rapid escalation of the situation in Kazakhstan, sources in the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan said, APA reports citing AKIPress.
The requirement is lifted both for citizens of Kyrgyzstan and foreign nationals.
Protests started in the western town of Zhanaozen on Sunday in connection with leap of liquified petroleum gas price and then spread across the country. Counter-terrorist operation was declared on Thursday night in Almaty.
