Israel officially designated Iran's Central Bank and several affiliated entities as terrorist organizations on Wednesday, APA reports citing breakingthenews.net.
Defense Minister Israel Katz signed the order, targeting institutions allegedly funding regional militancy, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and allied groups.
The move also includes two Iranian banks—Shahr Bank and Mellat Bank—along with Sepehr Energy Jahan Company (SEJ), which is tied to Iranian oil revenues funding IRGC operations. Three SEJ executives were personally sanctioned. "The Central Bank of Iran is not a financial institution — it is a conduit that funnels billions into murderous terrorism," Katz said, vowing to continue undermining Tehran's support networks.
