IRGC says it struck U.S. air base following reported attack on Sirik Island

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Monday morning that the U.S. military had attacked a telecommunications tower on Sirik Island in Hormozgan Province, APA's Tehran bureau reports.

According to the information, following the incident, fighters of the IRGC Aerospace Force targeted the air base from which the attack had allegedly been carried out and struck the identified targets.

The IRGC warned that if the attack is repeated, its response would be completely "different" and said responsibility for such consequences would rest with the United States.

It should be noted that the statement did not provide additional details regarding the timing or results of the attack.
