“We are brothers with the countries of the region. We are relatives with Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. Others (the U.S.) want to drag us into war. But we will not do that,” said Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, APA reports.
“We are seeking peace, not war. We pursue peace and stability both within the country and with our neighbors – Azerbaijan, Russia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia – and we are working for brotherhood and equality,” Pezeshkian said.
He emphasized that if the regional states can establish trade relations together, they can create a large trade market among Muslim countries, as well as peace and security.
According to the Iranian President, this region belongs not to others, but to the countries of the region.
