Iran's Foreign Ministry: No talks have been held on enriched uranium

No talks have been held regarding enriched uranium, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said at a briefing today while commenting on U.S. President Donald Trump's claim about China's assistance in resolving the issue of Iran's enriched uranium, APA's Tehran bureau reports.

According to Baghaei, Iran knows well what steps to take on the nuclear issue whenever necessary, and at this stage no discussions have been held on nuclear-related topics.

He added that the other side constantly changes its position, puts forward new demands, and sends contradictory messages, which prolongs the negotiation process.

Baghaei did not provide further details regarding the possible course of the nuclear talks.
