Iran will not take any steps before the United States, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf wrote on his X account, APA reports.
He stated that official Tehran has no trust in words and guarantees.
Ghalibaf noted that the first step is expected from the United States and stressed that Iran will do nothing before Washington takes action.
“We obtain concessions through missiles, not through negotiations. During negotiations, we explain these concessions to the other side,” the parliament speaker said.
It should be noted that negotiations between Iran and the United States are being held through mediators. However, no final agreement has yet been reached.
