Any new action by Israel will be met with a harsh response, APA's Tehran bureau reports.
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that any new action by Israel would be met with a harsh response from Iran.
The statement noted that against the backdrop of repeated violations of the April 8 ceasefire and the ongoing military activities by Israel together with the United States against Iran and Lebanon, Iran's armed forces on Monday evening struck several military targets within the framework of the right to self-defense in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter.
The ministry emphasized that the Lebanon ceasefire is an integral part of the April 8 agreement and that the United States bears responsibility for the consequences of violations of this agreement and the escalation of tensions in the region. It was also stated that any new action by Israel would be met with a harsh response from Iran.
