Negotiations between Tehran and Washington on the issue of enriched uranium have effectively reached a deadlock, and discussion of this topic has been postponed to a later stage, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said during a briefing for journalists, APA reports.
“Our issue regarding enriched uranium is a very complex topic. At present, we came to the conclusion with the Americans that since this issue is extremely difficult and has effectively reached a deadlock, it should be left to later stages of the negotiations,” the Iranian Foreign Minister said.
According to him, the parties are currently trying to continue negotiations in other areas.
