Iran FM discusses US strikes in call with EU’s Kallas

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said he discussed regional developments after recent US strikes on Iran in a phone call on Thursday with EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas, APA's Tehran bureau reports.

Araghchi strongly condemned the latest US attack, calling it a clear violation of the UN Charter and international law.

He noted that these actions render the ceasefire ineffective and said that the United States bears responsibility for the dangerous consequences that may result from them.

Araghchi criticized the silence of UN member states in the face of these actions. He warned that passivity at the international level would lead to a further deterioration of regional and global security.
