Iran criticizes IAEA chief's stance, says it is prepared for any scenario

The Director General of the IAEA insists on a non-constructive position, does not take into account the causes of the current situation and focuses only on the consequences, said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei while commenting on IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi's report and the possibility of the adoption of a resolution against Iran, APA's Tehran bureau reports.

Baghaei stressed that if IAEA officials are concerned, they should condemn the parties that caused this situation.

According to him, the US and Israel's attack on Iran's nuclear facilities created this situation, and they have still not expressed a position regarding that attack.

Baghaei emphasized that Iran is prepared for any scenario and that corresponding response measures have been envisaged.

He added that a person who is a candidate for the post of UN Secretary-General should carry out his duties responsibly.
