Iran is holding consultations with several Central Asian countries on reaching an agreement with the United States, Iranian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ali Mojtaba Rouzbehani told reporters, APA reports.

"As is well known, the ceasefire agreement with the United States is not yet fully implemented. Although it has been signed, some provisions of the document are not being implemented. <…> As you know, the agreement was reached with the assistance of Pakistan, Qatar, and Türkiye. Of course, full implementation of this agreement requires full compliance with the obligations assumed by the United States and its mediating countries. Pakistan is negotiating with our country on these issues, and we are holding consultation meetings with the Central Asian countries," he said at a briefing at the Iranian Embassy. The diplomat added that some Central Asian countries have expressed a desire to assist in implementing the agreement. "But, unfortunately, no action has yet been taken by the US leadership. Therefore, we are on alert to repel further military aggression from the United States," Rouzbehani concluded.
