Türkiye delayed the outbreak of the war, said Türkiye’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hakan Fidan, APA reports.
He noted that Türkiye had been working to prevent the war: “We also proposed creative solutions. We even delayed the outbreak of the war. In fact, the war would have started earlier, but we postponed it through our efforts. Perhaps a result could have been achieved, but they preferred to return to the old method.”
Hakan Fidan also commented on the possibility of an Iranian attack on Türkiye.
“Türkiye will always defend itself. We have both the will and the capacity required for this. I am saying this separately from the issue of Iran,” the Turkish foreign minister added.
