Pakistan army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir is heading to Tehran to help strengthen the agreement between the United States and Iran, Axios reports, citing sources.

According to the report, Asim Munir will seek to secure an agreement under which the U.S. and Iran would end the war and begin negotiations on a broader settlement.

Note that Munir has been the main mediator between the United States and Iran since the war began.
