Gaza rights group urges Hamas to investigate rocket attacks

Baku-APA. Hamas should investigate the rockets fired by Palestinian militants on a house and two factories in the Gaza Strip, a Palestinian rights group said Tuesday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

The deposed government of Hamas, which controls Gaza since 2007, "should take procedures that protect the lives and safety of people" after rockets landed on a house, a soft drink factory and a carpentry last week, said the Palestinian Center for Human Rights.

The rockets wounded six people and caused damage to the house and the factories, the group said.

The week-long violence between Israel and Gaza-based militant groups calmed down Saturday after Hamas met with the groups and convinced them to stick again to a shaky ceasefire that has been held for nearly two years.
