3 NATO Soldiers Killed in Afghanistan

Baku-APA. NATO says three of its service members died in Afghanistan Saturday, APA reports quoting voanews.com website.

A NATO statement says two soldiers died in the south following a shooting incident with a security guard. An investigation is under way. The third soldier was killed in a bomb blast in eastern Afghanistan.

A separate NATO statement says joint Afghan and coalition forces killed two insurgents in central Uruzgan province and â€œseveral othersâ€ in southern Helmand province.

In neighboring Kandahar province, joint patrols discovered a drug and weapons cache containing 90 kilograms of hashish, 18 anti-personnel mines, several improvised explosive device-making components, and ammunition.

Another weapons cache was discovered in eastern Logar province. It included a rocket-propelled grenade launcher, eight rocket-propelled grenades, nine rocket-propelled grenade boosters, three Afghan National Police uniforms, one land mine, and five hand grenades.
