Presidents of Iran and Turkey have phone talk

"Tehran and Ankara have achieved useful outcomes on many issues", said Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a telephone conversation with Turkish President Abdullah Gul, APA reports quoting "Tabnak". To him, the expansion of bilateral and international relations provides peace and stability in the region.
"This is for the benefit of both Turkish and Iranian people. Iran will always defend the rights of the Turkish brothers. Ongoing changes in the world against Iran and Turkey into the hands of both countries. We must take advantage of this and restore justice", Ahmadinejad said.

The Iranian president stressed that the Turkish state and the people are on the right path and there is nothing they can not prevent.

Gul noted that Turkey has historic and strong ties with Iran: "We appreciate the current level of relations and favor the more strengthened”.

Gul noted the need for joint discussion of the problems.
