The opening ceremony of the Russian Culture Days was held in the Heydar Aliyev Palace under the organization of the Ministry of Cultur of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the ministry told APA.
According to information, officials of Azerbaijan and Russsia, culture and art figures, and art lovers took part in the event.
Andrey Malyshev, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, who spoke at the ceremony, expressed his gratitude to the government of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the warm welcome of the delegation and support for holding the Russian Culture Days.
Murad Huseynov, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, underlined during his speech that cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Russia are developing dynamically.
The program, which includes the works of P. Tchaikovsky, S. Rachmaninov, D. Shostakovich and N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov, gave the audience unforgettable moments.
