Samir Sharifov: “Azerbaijan-US cooperation in energy security is an example”

"Close cooperation between Azerbaijan and the US in an issue of energy security is an example," said Finance Minister of Azerbaijan Samir Sharifov at an event dedicated to the Independence Day of the US, APA reports.

According to Minister, relations between the two countries based on a robust foundation and a close partnership.

"Our strategic relations should also give an impetus to strong trade partnership. As Azerbaijani government, we extend gratitude to the US for support in COP29. As COP29 host country, Azerbaijan considers that the US which has a leading economy in the world, can contribute to solution of COP29 goals, especially financial challenges very much," emphasized Minister.
