Remains of Fagan Yagubov, I Garabagh War Martyr, laid to rest in Azerbaijan

The remains of the martyr Fagan Yagubov Misir, who was believed to have gone missing and whose burial place and identity were determined after 30 years, were handed over to his family, APA's Garabagh bureau reports.

A farewell ceremony was held for the martyr in the Sarijali village of Tartar district. Village residents, family members of the martyr, veterans, heads of the district executive power and law enforcement agencies, and public representatives attended the ceremony.

Following the funeral prayer, the remains of the martyr were laid to rest in the village cemetery and prayers were recited.

During the burial, the National Anthem was performed by a military band, and a volley salute was fired.

Note that Fagan Yagubov Misir was born in 1973 in Sarijali village of Tartar district. In the First Garabagh War, he fought in the battles in the direction of Tartar-Aghdara.

Fagan Yagubov was buried in the Alley of Martyrs in Baku as an unknown martyr, he was identified a short while ago.
