Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has traveled to the United States, he announced on his Telegram channel, APA reports.
Zelenskyy said he will hold meetings in Washington with US President Donald Trump, members of his administration, and officials who can support Ukraine's defense.
"Our number one priority is strengthening missile defense systems and developing strategic cooperation with the United States. Peace must come closer," Zelenskyy stressed.
The Ukrainian president also said the delegation will pay tribute to the late US Senator Lindsey Graham during a memorial ceremony in Washington.
"On behalf of all Ukraine, we will honor the memory of Lindsey Graham and respectfully remember his service to security and freedom in the Euro-Atlantic area, as well as in other regions of the world," Zelenskyy noted.
