Trump Tower in New York, home to president-elect Donald Trump, was evacuated on Tuesday after a report of a "suspicious package”, APA reports quoting Sputnik.
In videos posted to social media, people were seen fleeing the building at the direction of uniformed officers.
Trump is currently in Florida at his Mar-a-Lago estate for the holidays.
Shortly after 5 p.m. local time, the suspicious package was"deemed safe" by the New York Police Department and the evacuation orders were ended. Police confirmed that the package was actually a bag of children's toys.
