Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has congratulated Azerbaijan on the sixth anniversary of the Karabakh Victory, APA reports.
The Turkish President shared a message on his X account, expressing his satisfaction at celebrating the anniversary alongside Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Shusha.
"Six years ago, under the determined leadership of my brother Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani people united as one fist, demonstrated great heroism and liberated Karabakh. This glorious victory continues to be the clearest manifestation of Azerbaijan's just cause and a source of pride for the entire Turkic world," Erdogan stated.
The Turkish President noted that Azerbaijan's liberation of its territories during the 44-day Patriotic War marked the beginning of a new era in the South Caucasus.
"Today, our task is to consolidate the victory achieved on the battlefield through lasting peace and stability. Just as we supported Azerbaijan's just struggle, we also support its sincere efforts to establish lasting peace in our region," he emphasized.
Erdogan also praised Azerbaijan's efforts to rebuild Karabakh and restore normal life in the region.
"Every home brought back to life, every building erected and every piece of historical heritage restored in Karabakh demonstrates the Azerbaijani people's confidence in the future. God willing, we will continue to share our experience and contribute to reconstruction and development efforts," Erdogan added.
