Baku – APA. A total of 13 people survived a crash of an airplane carrying 72 passengers and nine crew members in northwestern Colombia, 360 Radio Colombia broadcaster reported on Tuesday citing the emergency team operating at the scene of the crash, Sputnik reports.
Survivors are being taken to Clinica San Juan de Dios in the nearby town of La Ceja.
Two of the survivors, football players Marcos Danilo and Alan Ruschel, were sitting next to each other.

Baku – APA. At least six people are believed to have survived after a plane carrying 81 passengers, including members of a top flight Brazilian football team, crashed in Colombia, officials said, RTE reports.
The Jose Maria Cordova de Rionegro airport, which serves Medellin, said in a statement that "all possible aid was being mobilised because six survivors are being reported."
The airport that serves Medellin said that among the 72 passengers and nine crew were members of Chapecoense Real, a Brazilian football club that was due to play against Colombia's Atletico Nacional tomorrow in the South American Cup finals.
