Baku-APA. Three armed men arrested on Tuesday near the Capitol in Washington, APA reports quoting RIA Novosti.
Earlier it was reported that the shooting was closed the buildings of the U.S. Congress.
According to police, shots rang out when the suspects tried to escape from custody. The whole situation unfolded less than an hour and after this time, the Congress building was reopened.
A police spokesman did not specify who the detainees are, what weapons they had and what were their intentions.
These days in the USA guards are showing increased attention to the armed people, after last week in Dallas was shot and killed five policemen and nine were wounded.
