Baku – APA. United States President Barack Obama tops the list of the highest paid world leaders, with an annual salary of 400,000, according to the calculations of French newspaper Les Echos.
Following Obama on the list is Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who receives a salary of $260,000 annually, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who takes the third spot with $234,000 a year.
Top 10 includes South Africa’s President Jacob Zuma ($223,000), British Prime Minister Theresa May ($215,000), France’s President François Hollande ($194 300) and Russia’s President Vladimir Putin ($136 000).
