The US strongly supports the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations, it has been noted by the US State Department as a response to the query of Voice of America radio, APA reports.
According to the Department, it will positively impact on the whole region.
"Armenian-Turkish dialogue has the potential to increase regional stability, prevent negative impacts, and lead to greater economic growth that will be beneficial for all. It is especially important today on the background of Russia's war in Ukraine. The US is ready to support the important dialogue in the form, which is considered purposeful by both sides," noted.
