United States Army has grounded all pilots for training following the latest crash of two Apache helicopters in Alaska, in which three soldiers died, APA reports citing Teletrader.
An Army spokesperson said the flight suspension is in immediate effect and will last until training is completed.
Active-duty units will undergo training between May 1 and 5, while Army National Guard and Reserve units can complete the course until May 31. The Alaska collision was the second major incident involving helicopters this year, after two aircraft in Kentucky crashed, killing nine.
