The United States' deal with Kyiv authorities on rare earth metals was a condition for Washington to continue its efforts to peacefully resolve the conflict in Ukraine, said US President Donald Trump on Thursday, APA reports citing Fox News.
"I said that if we want to move forward, we need rare earth metals. We want our money back," he said in an interview with Fox News .
Trump noted that, overall, the Ukrainian conflict doesn't significantly affect the United States. "You know, it doesn't really affect us. That's really true," he said.
