The next hearing in the case of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro in the federal court for the Southern District of New York will be held on March 17. This decision was made following Maduro's first appearance in the court, presiding Judge Alvin Hellerstein announced the order setting the new hearing, APA reports citing Fox News.
"I'll see you again on March 17 at 11:00 a.m. (7:00 p.m. Moscow time - TASS note)," the judge told the defense and prosecution.
Maduro's lawyer, Barry Pollack, informed the judge of his intention to later seek bail for the Venezuelan leader.
