Kushner: Almost all issues regarding Western security guarantees for Kyiv have been resolved

Western countries and Ukraine have agreed on virtually all issues regarding security guarantees for Kyiv, but this does not mean peace will be achieved, said Jared Kushner, the US president's son-in-law and entrepreneur, who is part of the US delegation, following a meeting of the "coalition of the willing", APA reports.

"They were developed over the past month in consultations with Ukrainians and Europeans. I will say that, in my opinion, today has become a very important milestone," Kushner added.

"This doesn't mean we'll achieve peace, but peace would be impossible without the progress made here today. What I mean is that if Ukraine is going to reach a final agreement, it needs to know it will be safe after the deal is concluded," the American delegation representative concluded.
