In the morning, a man steered a vehicle into a crowd on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. The attacker offered resistance to police. He is dead. The FBI is working with partners to look into the details of this terrorist attack, NBC News quotes the FBI as saying. Earlier it was reported that after stopping the car the attacker opened fire on police.

At least ten people were killed and 30 suffered injuries after a vehicle plowed into a crowd in the US city of New Orleans, the local authorities said, APA reports citing ABC News.
Those injured have been taken to the hospital.
