Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Monday that Canada will send Ukraine another support package worth $500 million, APA reports citing Teletrader.
It will cover military aid, as well as fuel and medical supplies.
Trudeau stated that Canada has so far given Ukraine $3.4 billion in aid since the start of Russia's offensive.
"Ukraine's military has made incredible progress reclaiming ground and Canada's military contributions have been integral in their counter-offensive to date," Canada's Defense Minister Anita Anand said.
"The $500 million in new military aid announced today will ensure that we continue to meet Ukraine's military momentum with the military aid that it needs to fight and win."
