13 soldiers killed in explosions at an ammunition depot in the Cuban city of Holguin, says the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba, APA reports.
A statement published by the ministry's official newspaper Granma said that "a special commission established to investigate the incident, together with other experts, concluded that it was impossible to enter the scene and that there were no survivors at the scene."
"When the information was published, it was decided to inform their relatives about the final outcome of this incident, and in this regard, it was officially announced that 13 of our comrades had died," the statement said.
