Baku-APA. Two young children were killed early Tuesday when a man opened fire on them in a hotel in southern Texas, a state of the United States, APA reports quoting local media.
Local TV ABC13 quoted a police spokesman as saying that after receiving a phone call saying that the two children and their mother could face trouble, the police rushed to the Holiday Inn- Civic Center in Laredo around midday. They knocked on the hotel room door and then heard several shots, which resulted in the deaths of an infant and a toddler.
The police finally entered the hotel room and arrested the man, but it was unclear what relation the suspect had to the family.
The police spokesman added that they did not know the whereabout of the children’s mother.
