Barack Obama: “The difference between Ahmadinejad and Mousavi may not be as greatâ€

Baku –APA. U.S. President Barack Obama spoke about the presidential elections in Iran in his interview with CNBC. According to APA, Obama said there appeared to be few policy differences between Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his reformist rival Mir Hossein Mousavi. "The difference between Ahmadinejad and Mousavi in terms of their actual policies may not be as great as has been advertised," he said. Obama said the United States would try to normalize its relations with Iran not depending who would be in power in this country. He said meddling in the internal affairs of Iran would not be useful for democracy and US image.
