US, Canadian and Israeli citizens seek treatment at Azerbaijan’s sanatorium-resort centers

Citizens of the United States, Canada, Israel, and CIS countries are applying to our sanatorium-resort treatment centers, said Sahib Mammadov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, during his speech at the public hearing on “The current state of tourism in Azerbaijan and development prospects” organized by the Labor and Social Policy Committee of the Milli Majlis, APA reports.

Sahib Mammadov stated that the number of foreign guests increased by 12% in 2024: “As a result of improvements made to our sanatorium-resort treatment centers, interest from foreign guests has also grown.”

He also noted that more than 43,000 vouchers were issued in total in 2025: “Compared to 2024, there has been nearly a 15% increase in the issuance of vouchers. Tours to modern recreation centers are organized on weekends and public holidays.”
