"There are wide opportunities for the development of health tourism in Shusha," said Aydin Karimov, the special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Shusha, during his speech at the International Investment Forum, APA reports.
"Shusha has clean air and beautiful nature. This, of course, has a positive impact on healthcare and people's health. This factor is very important in the development of health tourism. With the support of TABIB and the Ministry of Health, the development of the medical sector is ensured in Shusha. Shusha has favorable conditions for tourists' recreation, especially rehabilitation services after surgical operations, and for this purpose, we are consulting with international experts and using their knowledge and skills to improve the hotel sector," Aydin Karimov noted.
The special representative of the President said that up to 30 historical monuments have been restored in Shusha and that renovation works are ongoing, noting that some infrastructure projects will also be ready in a few years.
