In January-September of this year, 706,494 tourists visited the reserves and cultural institutions under the control of the Reserves Management Center of the State Tourism Agency, Murad Aghabeyli, Chairman of the Board of the Reserves Management Center, told journalists during a media visit to the Mud Volcanoes Tourism Complex, APA-Economics reports.
He noted that this is 25.71% more than in the same period last year: “The number of local tourists visiting reserves and cultural institutions in the first 9 months was 159,171, while the number of foreign tourists was 547,323.”
